Wordwright's Arabic word lists are ranked by the OpenSubtitles 2018 Arabic frequency list (hermitdave/FrequencyWords), which is licensed CC BY-SA 4.0. The ranking decides which words are common enough to appear on a board, so the lists below are an adaptation of it and carry the same licence. The puzzle pool is built by selecting words through that ranking, so it is covered too.
The four files here are the exact bytes the app ships. They are offered under Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International.
Files
- ar-core.txt — band 1, the 3,000 most common words
- ar-wide.txt — band 2, 10,000 words (a superset of band 1)
- ar-accept.txt — the acceptance list the solver checks against
- pool-ar.json — every Arabic puzzle in the game
Attribution
Ranking: OpenSubtitles 2018 Arabic frequency list, from hermitdave/FrequencyWords, content licensed CC BY-SA 4.0. Validity and part of speech: the Ayaspell Arabic Hunspell dictionary as packaged in LibreOffice/dictionaries (GPL 2.0 / LGPL 2.1 / MPL 1.1 tri-licence; used under MPL 1.1). Words that are offensive, sectarian or not Modern Standard Arabic are removed before a list is built; that filtering is Wordwright's own.

You may copy, redistribute and adapt these files, including commercially, if you credit the sources above and license what you build from them under CC BY-SA 4.0. Wordwright's code, art, interface and English word lists are not part of this offer.
بيانات الكلمات العربية
تعتمد قوائم الكلمات العربية في «حِرفة» على قائمة تكرارات OpenSubtitles 2018 العربية المرخّصة بموجب CC BY-SA 4.0، ولذلك تُنشر القوائم الأربعة أعلاه — وهي نفس الملفات التي تشحن مع اللعبة — بالرخصة ذاتها. تُستمد صحة الكلمات وأقسامها من قاموس «أيا سبل» العربي ضمن قواميس ليبر أوفيس. أما الكلمات المسيئة أو الطائفية أو غير الفصيحة فتُحذف قبل بناء أي قائمة.
يجوز لك نسخ هذه الملفات وتعديلها وإعادة نشرها، بما في ذلك تجاريًا، شرط نسبتها إلى مصادرها أعلاه وترخيص ما تبنيه منها بالرخصة نفسها. لا يشمل هذا العرض شيفرة اللعبة ولا رسومها ولا واجهتها ولا قوائم الكلمات الإنجليزية.
